In dividing a polynomial with a monomial, we just have to do a simple division. We divide each term in the polynomial (numerator) with the monomial (denominator). The number of similar fractions depends on the number of terms you have in the numerator.

Then, we divide the coefficients and apply the Quotient Rule for the exponents. In the case that an exponent is negative, apply the Negative Rule of Exponents as we do not allow negative exponents in the final answer. Get the reciprocal of the base and have its equivalent positive exponent.
