Putin has made countless threats of escalation during the Russia-Ukraine War, yet nothing happens. Even when Ukraine has begun to strike deeper into Russian territory or utilise NATO weapons more audaciously, Ryan McBeth argues that we still shouldn't fear the Kremlins tough talk.

Pretty sure the attack on Ukraine is escalation enough

Putin doesn't escalate because he's already all in. He's been all in for a long time.

If the American policy is to provide safe havens for aggressors with nuclear weapons -- not protect the territorial integrity of its partners and allies, not uphold and safeguard international law -- where does that leave NATO members that border Russia? Sorry, can't help you mate because Russia still has nukes?

The current strategy makes nuclear non-proliferation, such as Ukraine giving up their stockpile, look like a horrible mistake. That's very shortsighted.

In Korea, for God's sake, we were fighting Russian fighter pilots and Chinese ground forces, and we still didn't do anything to China or Russia. To heck with the risk of escalation.

Escalation in Russian: Using older and older equipment as the newer stuff is already blown up.

Soviet/Russia and Chinese among others had no problem with their "trainers" actively taking part in use of the weapons they were suppose to train someone one how to use.

I'm curious about Russian maintenance of their nukes. We spend 40+ billion per year and I'm willing to bet the Russians don't maintain theirs much at all.

Lose or lose less, what an amazing analogy.

Lose vs lose less. As opposed to lose lose. Russian lost three million of emigrants and will lose 1 million solders soon. Ukrainian cites destroyed.
Russia will not recover economically.
Ukraine will recover since it will be rebuilt. And its military is strengthened.

Hey Ryan, that’s a good way of having a conversation. A cigar and a glass of bourbon.👍🏻

This is one of those videos that has a strange ominous feeling to it looking back at it now. At the time of this comment Ukraine armed forces have entered Kursk Russia and now control ~135 km² of Russian territory.
This is not a raid like what the free Russia Legion did, but more of a "mini-invasion".

2 seconds in I’m liking this. Cigar and what looks like whiskey. Give me 2 minutes to get mine and I’ll continue
