Hi all, I had a lot of requests to do this before the SEKA got built up, so I have come down to Brissie one day earlier (prior to the build @ Taylor Cycles) to see Gary from Carbon Steed. I just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to Gary who saw me on short notice and squeezed me in to his busy schedule. I literally emailed him yesterday about this! Cheers, Cam

This old man is cool. He speaks well! I think Your channel likes him

Nice that this frame is at least free of frame voids and other issues. Sounds like this frame would be good for the lighter folks, with the "thin" carbon.

You should do a segment that inspects actual high end frame to actually see are there differences in quality. You did inspection on china frames which has nothing to compare to other than that dude in the video talking about that specific China frame. But how does it stack up against something like an Sworks ?

Yep very interesting to o see a frame inspected independently when new, surprisingly this doesn’t happen often, more so when they fail. It would be interesting to see or have the next level seka down to see if the carbon if thicker, beyond the 0.78 wall thickness and so would that be more resilient to knocks and wear, lightweight obviously mean compromise somewhere. Looks like this is better laid up and more consistent than the scary big S frames being scanned currently… bet your looking forward to riding that to see how it feels

Would love to know what Gary meant when he said it's "thin". Is it drastically thinner (50% thinner) than what he sees in other frames or just marginally thinner (5% and barely measurable)? The current description leads one to believe this Seka frame might be too fragile compared to others and I'm not sure if that's the correct take away.

Good to see a positive review. He worked so hard to find a con that he took superman's laser eyes to the bike and found a 10th of a milimeter difference. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I like it when professionals have nothing to say so they find jargon to adlib with.

Could you do, somewere in the future, a review on the ELVES Falath pro? Especially their handlebar.

So what Gary says is that the carbon is really tin so it would break easier because if it?

Was this the 775g frame? Cos if it is no wonder his saying it is thin. Bet the 953g frame isn't as thin, but would be interesting to know. Can't wait to see how this rides, hope it's not like a wet noodle...

I read somewhere that the frame in scrutiny here is the RDC lightweight version which has the raw carbon finish, hence, Mr. Gary's remarks of the finish to be inferior to yjat of the Winspace. Cant wait for Cam to test it on the road.

The integrated cables that grabs the steerer tube kinda worry me that they would slowly deteorating the carbon steerer itself.

I think that we're all hyped for the Seka build.
Will you review the Stack height, as I think it's more of an endurance frame?
