Better than I've ever heard it before. And that bass is awesome; it has no residual hang over tones, notes stop and start where they need to. Nice, clean, and hard driving sound; no notes bleed into others. Each note has it's own distinct voice.

Hi, thanks for the compliment. Yep Marcus is an amazing player. I thought it was about time someone did a tribute to him so I did on my first album. I did my own solo.
I have the good fortune of knowing him. It was nice to hear him say likes my version too.
I use a Status Empathy 6 String Bass into Korg A3 FX unit into an Avalon U5 DI
into a Quest 3004 Power Amp into 2 of my own design 2x10+Horn High End Cabs ( Marcus also has 2 of these in his Studio)

Hi there, your making me smile, Glad you like the track. I use a Status Empathy 6 string bass, an Avalon U5, with no pre-amp & I design my own Wayne Jones high end bass cabinets. Just about to finish the prototypes for my next models.
The video came about as one of my students thought fellow bass players would love to see how I play my version of Marcus's track. He just came to my house & shot it. The track is from my first 2006 CD Forgotten Melody

Thks Mr. J....and that's Dr.J of solo bass superior educational video of the overall performance. The tone melody groove and punch you made your own not losing the riff being relaxed not stiff ...like water as my idol Mr. Bruce Lee terms it. I'll be glued in Dr.J🙏🏽❤️
