Alveolar recruitment versus overdistension:This video briefly explain how compliance of the respiratory system, and consequently plateau pressure, can change according to an increase of PEEP. In other words, we show how the driving pressure (plateau - PEEP) differently change to maintain the same tidal volume dependently to the position occupied on the pressure-volume curve.
