This album was published after Kris left a comment under his demo (Desolate - The Mirrored Waters of Time Reflect.... (1994)) on my 2nd channel. Here's the demo.
I've contacted with Kris and he allowed me to upload their new stuff. So here's the story of the band Green Sabre that Kris told me.
"Back in early 1993 Gaz (guitars, backing vocals), Bry (drums), Nick Shute (Lead Guitars) & Me, (Lead vocals & guitars) started a doom project with no more planned that just have fun and write a few songs. Anyway, about 3 months in we realised the songs were really good so started rehearsing them and cobbled together what little money we had to record them at a local studio in Lancaster, U.K. Anyway, we didn’t have much so could only really demo them roughly (you can tell that some of the songs aren’t finished properly!) Anyway, a few months went by and we started getting quite a bit of interest! We did our one and only gig in Halifax, UK and started sending the tape out to places. Months went by and circumstances got in the way and by mid-1994 we’d all but disbanded unfortunately. Nick enrolled at college and eventually joined the RAF. I moved out of the area and couldn’t commit to any regular rehearsals. Bry joined a band called Phobophilia who got a record deal so that took up all his time and Gaz carried on for one more demo with different members.

Fast forward 24 years and I am playing in a band called Merichane with Bry again (Drums) and his brother Dave Pugh (guitars in Skyclad). However at the end of 2018 I’d been playing around with some doom riffs I had written, got in touch with Gaz and here we are now! We’re really happy with the material and are already getting a little bit of label interest so watch this space…"
