A very large earthquake has struck on the plate boundary off the shores of South Alaska's peninsula leading into the Aleutian Islands. Professionals have issued Tsunami warnings for potential tsunami waves to spread 300km from the Earthquake epicenter. Buoys now showing activity (not shown in the video)

just a heads up Dutch, I lived in the Aleutian Islands for 24 years. The locals there are very aware of Tsunami’s. We have alot of earthquakes and Volcano eruptions in the region. Most everyone is prepared for these events and have locations to evacuate. The warnings typically come into the Clinics Nd they spread the word very fast, and the healthy villagers always get the Elderly to safety first thing. You are an Awesome asset to these comunities who have internet as well. Keep doing what you do it is very helpful. As soon as I got the alert I knew you woul have a live stream so I immediatly went to your channel. Again thanks!!

WOW! I remember in 1954 (?) the earthquake on Easter Sunday in Alaska. I was only 10 years old and I and my 4 siblings were all dressed and ready to leave for Church when the news came over the radio. The pictures were the scariest I had ever seen in my young life. I do hope the people in Alaska can remain safe in spite of the danger they are now in.
We are very lucky that we have the Internet so that DUTCHSINSE can keep us up to date on the earthquakes around the world. Thank you, Dutch. We love and need you. Peace.

My daughter here in central valley california came into my room and ask if I felt earthquake I said no she said mom I was standing still and I felt the ground move and saw the tv slide back and forth,

I live in an area of California we call the Valley, my location is approximately 45 minites away from Sacramento, and an 2 hours away from San Francisco. I'll tell you my mom made a comment she felt the earth move like an earthquake, and I actually felt it while I was in the bathroom, that was a few nights ago, then I see this notification crazy times for sure.
