During WW1, my wife's Great Uncle was wounded and taken to a field hospital but never seen again. His name is on a memorial in Belgium, which we visited in 2018 for the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice. In later years we had a tour of the Normandy beaches and cemeteries. To see all the crosses stretching into the distance was an experience I will never forget. Unfortunately, the world has not learned any lessons and innocent people are being sacrificed in the name of greed all over the world today.

My Father fought and many others in WW2 (not forgetting the slaughter of patriots in WW1) those souls put their lives on the line would turn in their graves to see what has happen to society and the total disrespect. Shameful…. Brings me to tears have people no shame…

In WW1 more people died from Influenza than died on the battle field. We have not forgotten but our governments certainly have.

Having watched the Remembrance Day commemeration, I noticed that while singing 'God Save the King' I saw that Muppet Starmer and company were clearly not signing the correct words but it looked like a mixture of 'keep the red flag flying' and 'knees up Mother Brown'. Go watch and tell me I'm wrong. Also earlier on I noticed a male and female chewing and were glared at (quite rightfully so) by a uniformed serviceman. I hope they get humiliated. Those who have gone before deserve nothing less than our total respect. God bless you and please continue your outstanding work.
