Before the introduction of the Premier League, Alan Shearer scored 23 goals in the First División so that means he scored 283 goals in 538 games. Jimmy Greaves scored 357 goals in 516 games.

Henry is clearly the most dangerous striker in Premier League history in goals per game. Argument settled.
