Jessica Pegula's press conference following her loss against Sabalenka in the Final of the 2024 US Open.

The 2024 US Open main draw runs from August 26 - September 8 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 144th time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Serbia's Novak Djokovic and United States' Coco Gauff claimed the men's and women's singles titles. It was Djokovic’s 24th Grand Slam title and Gauff’s first Grand Slam title. This year, at the US Open, we’re set for another spectacular tournament as the world’s best tennis players head to New York. Look out for highlights, extended highlights, full matches, press conferences, on-court interviews, hot shots, compilations and more!

Really impressed with this press conference. After three gruelling matches and losing the Final, she’s super composed, very honest, congratulated her opponent. Recently I have seen some great press conferences from many players. Real kudos to them and Jess, you are a terrific player.

Jessie is a player with pure class and is a champion inside & out. It's no surprise she's on the WTA Players' Council & is well liked amongst her peers. Really rooting for her to get a slam (or more) before she retires.

Love how she carries herself on and off the court. She played so tough and came from behind so many times this tourney to put her in position to win. It’ll come. Rooting for her.

How can a human being be so classy? The way she carries herself, the way she speaks, how she chooses her words without thinking too much about it, her temperament even when she’s upset. Just perfection.

She is easy to root for - she beats probably 95% of the top players today - she just had to play the best right now and was an inch short. Great tournament JP!

Absolutely love love love Jessica Pegula ❤❤

It’s not easy to lose of course, but I think she will look back and see how AMAZING she is. I feel like she will win a Grand Slam soon.

Congrats Jessica

A person can play their best and still come up short. And I hope she can enjoy and celebrate what she has accomplished.

I was rooting for Sabalenka and I'm so happy that she win but I really like Jessica, amazing player and very sweet person. Great final between both of them.

At 30yrs of age age ( ancient in tennis years) Jessica has elevated every aspect of her game to this. She deserves her success because she is putting in the work. Aryna was a determined champion deserving her victory.
