And for those suffering from a TBI it can be difficult to explain how they feel inside.

Every 21 seconds, one person in the USA sustains a brain injury.

And each year over 2.5 million Americans visit the emergency room after suffering a traumatic brain injury, with an estimated 282,000 require hospitalization.

While every TBI is different, and everyone will experience their injury in a unique way, "The Invisible Rain Cloud" attempts to explain some of the common symptoms and feelings an individual may face in their life after brain injury.

When people tell me I’m lucky to be alive, I respond with, “well your lucky to not have a traumatic brain injury”.

I just got fired after 23 years of service. My boss kept insisting that I was a downer, too forgetful and not a good fit, but my skills as a designer were not in question. I had to sign an agreement not to sue them to get a couple of months of severance. I hope I can find a new job. I'm sending this video to the the HR director and her minions. One of them will eventually get it.

I have a TBI from a car accident in 2021 that changed my life forever. I haven’t worked since and I had to learn to walk talk speech therapy. It’s hard to live with a TBI but be patient with yourself and know that Love you brain organization is amazing and The Traumatic Brain Injury fund helps with what your insurance won’t. The biaa is helpful and the virtual support groups are Amazing.

Coming from someone that loves someone with a TBI, I didn't even realize what it must be like living with a TBI. Thank you for a peek into your life and that of my boyfriend. It was an eye opening view to say the least.

the one dislike must be from someone who is not dealing with or living with a TBI !

I had a brain surgery 6 years ago and had about half of my brain on the right side removed to control my epileptic seizures. This video made me cry, because i see myself in so much of this. Thank you for sharing this to try to help people understand someone around them who has a brain injury. It hits the nail right on the head. I wish there were more awareness videos like this.

Thank you, this is how I feel every day since my tour in Iraq my MTBI is a living, breathing nightmare I wish would just either get so much worse I'd just forget all together or for 1 day just stop hurting. I've been walking around in a fog since 2007. I pray others to recover as I apparently will not. Hurting, alone, misunderstood, judged, always reaching for a motrin, hell on earth.

Well said on the video. I was shot in the head on 4/26/23. Concussion, T.B.I. given to me according to paperwork I have from Hospital. Half my skull was missing for 6 months. This is first video I have seen that makes me feel good.

I personally became obsessed with the phrase "I USED TO BE ABLE TO" but then I finally not the old me anymore. That is no different from a healthy person, they aren't the old them either!! I CAN RELATE TO EVERYTHING SAID IN THIS VIDEO. just never knew how to say it.. Thank you.

I have shared this video with so many people. People that are part of my son's rehabilitation .
One of the hardest things is that people think he doesn't try or needs to put in more effort.
This is a great video and explains a brain injury so well.
He was in a hit and run and every day is a challenge and every day is different

This has found my words for me. A perfect description. I feel so alone, and misunderstood.

Mine isn't considered traumatic because it was due to surgery but all of these are so true and this video helped me to not feel so alone with what I'm going through

The depression is another level.
Peripheral neuropathy and mental health has worsened since my severe TBI-ICH. I keep to myself because it has changed me to a different person I'm still trying to accept. This video helps a little, I want to show it to loved ones, but what is rhe point.
