I heard this piece when I watched a scene from Emma Thompson's film called Wit, where she lay ravaged from the effects of chemo. She is at death's door and her old teacher comes in to read a little childhood story that bonded them in a way that all those years they'd known each other hadn't. This piece was so fitting of that moment that I cried buckets. I highly recommend it.
