For cover, I use a Japanese tarp with some thick poles: it can hold serious wind speed (I live on the west coast of South Africa), can be set up in many different ways .
It takes a bit of time, with training 7-10 minutes is not too much

Throw some welding gloves from Harbor Freight to tend your fires

I was going to buy a heated blanket - BUT - after some research I bought an electric mattress heater. Likely similar to a blanket but warming the mattress is what works for me to ease the first few minutes when slipping into bed.👍

I have been on the fence WRT the Moon awning for a while. There are few occasions where I feel I REALLY need it...

I think im about to get a hest mattress myself. Ive heard too many great things about them so they must be good. Im also glad how u presented the power supplies and u may be the only overland/camping youtuber that has said you choose which is best for you, they all are good and i appreciate that. Thanks again bro for going over some great products to enhance the camping experience! Cant wait for part 3 and some camping and overlanding videos also. I fired up my diesel heater yesterday to make sure its good to go for my upcoming trip

The only suggestion I have is instead of a diesel heter. They do make gasoline versions of those types of heaters. So you don't want to carry three of fule with you but a very good video

Got a link to that heater in the box that you have there or the DIY?

The thing that sucks about those types of fire pits is all the heat goes straight up. Doesn’t radiate outward much at all. The tripod torch or the BioLite firepit is way better. They radiate outward really well. …and are smokeless.

Not all solar generators/power stations are the same and I think you're missing a few big drawbacks to them. In fact I'd say 90% of them are ill suited for off-road overland use. First, most only have one 12 cigarette port and maybe 2 DC barrel ports. The 12V cig port is non-locking so there is potential that it gets loose, causes voltage drop and your fridge won't run. Since most power stations only have ONE 12V cig port you will only be able to power your fridge or your diesel heater, not both. Second, most of the 12V cig ports are only rated at 10 amps. Most diesel heaters have an initial power surge during start up and will draw 12-14 amps. Once it gets going then it will draw less but in certain situations they need more than 10 amps to start up. So your diesel heater you brought for winter camping might not even start up at all. This isn't all the time but something to note especially if you are searching for power stations. Most of your popular brands like GZ, DJI, Ecoflow, Bluetti all have the same draw backs and aren't good for overland use. If you are buying a power station for that type of use make sure it has a locking 12V port or power pole connectors and make sure it has high amperage 12V connectors. Otherwise you are buying something meant to just charge your laptop and drones, not a fridge or diesel heater.
