HÜRJET left his home for the 19 May Youth and Sports Day celebrations
Turkey's first jet-powered supersonic training and light attack aircraft, HÜRJET, performed a demonstration flight with SOLOTÜRK and Turkish Stars in the skies of Samsun for the 19 May Youth and Sports Day celebrations. The visual feast, which lasted approximately 20 minutes, was followed with interest by citizens.
In addition, HÜRJET will replace the Turkish Air Force's old T-38 and F-5 aircraft. HÜRJET has been developed to provide appropriate training support for the increasing 5th generation warplanes (TFX). The first delivery of HÜRJET, which is designed to play a critical role by using its superior performance features with its single-engine, tandem and modern avionics suite cockpit, is planned to take place in 2025.
