Thank you for posting this. Although I wasn’t there this hit hard as someone who just had to put down their best friend of 10 years. My Rottweiler was suffering and while I couldn’t control his suffering I could take it on myself by giving him peace. One of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do was hold him close while he passed. ❤
