I tried this at work one day. I found myself feeling tired and cranky so I asked myself "what are the opposite feelings of tired and cranky" and I came up with "well rested and serene" so I tried to focus on being well rested and serene and telling myself I felt well rested and serene. I had to constantly stop myself when I was having cranky thoughts, and correct it, but within a couple hours, it worked! I changed my mood with mental alchemy!! This shit works!

Man, sorry about your Mom bro. My Mom was my best friend from the start. She helped me understand things, that I just couldn’t figure out. She’s been gone a little over 5 years now… still hard to believe she’s gone some days.
Like you with your Mom, I look forward to being with her again.

There is a flow to this world brother. When we fight it or force it, I think that’s when things get outta sorts.

He’s 100% right about laughter helping you. I was very depressed some years back, so I decided to go out and buy the entire series of the TV show Married With Children on DVD. It was my favorite show growing up and I loved it. I’m telling you, as corny as it sounds, watching that show got me through some very hard times when I was home by myself and depressed.
