Can’t come to the 2025 New York International Auto Show? Tom Voelk has all the reveals and highlights so you can check it out from your couch. The New York International Auto Show runs through April 27. At 125 years old, you have to respect that. Tickets are $22 for adults, less for kids. Considering how much time it saves going from dealership to dealership, it's a bargain.

I remember going to the Chicago Auto show in the late 90s and coming home with fancy bags, pens, magnets, literature, keychains, lanyards, and posters. The spectacle is gone now. "Shows" feel more clinical now. Local KC dealerships chose not to support a local auto show here in town, so that forces people to travel to St. Louis, Denver, or Dallas for a major auto show. Not convenient.

They need to:sort out the tariff uncertainty fast.
In my business every owner / manager I talk to has put away their wallet and not spending a nickel- even on inventory bargains- until a long term clear picture emerges. I can’t imagine what this is doing to large purchases like cars…….this is how recessions start……and take hold.

Your last advice is so true: "go to auto show if you are thinking of a new car"'; I live in a small town now and haven't been to one for decades. Earlier in my life, went to many auto shows and thoroughly enjoyed them and got to know different models.

Only South Korea is directly competing with China EV right now and they have the advantage in the US Market by introducing more sub $40k EV with all the fun sides of chinese EV.
