Bolo played the best Villian in Bloodspoort and other movies. I still have Bloodsport on VHS 📼 or Video home system. It was DVD before DVD. We use to have stores where we rented movies like 'Video Express' it wasn't just 'Blockbuster' there use to be video rentals everyone. That's what everyone did in the 80s and early 90s.

Bruce Lee was a devoted Martial Artist. He was way ahead of his time. Too bad he died so young. He would have made even more fascinating movies.

Seeing him as Chong Li when I was 9 or 10 gave me the mental image I still have of the martial arts movie villain archetype.

Just remember, the one inch punch was most famously used on Wong Jack Man, a guy who believed that martial arts should be reserved for Asians only. He challenged Bruce, who did not care who wanted to learn martial arts, so long as they were serious about it, to a fight. 3 moves, including the 1 inch punch, sealed Bruce's victory so he could go on teaching whoever he felt like teaching.

Bolo wasn't a martial artist but his acting and athletism was one of the key factor to his success, I wished people in the industry gave the man more recongnition. There was so many roll in the vilain spot that they could of made him part of during the mid 2000. His appearence for example in Double Impact was one of the best asian mafia vilain someone could possibly portray in the 90s.

I had my first karate school in 1973, the year Bruce Lee passed, and I remember seeing Enter the Dragon shortly after.

You see he didn't want to fight, he was a class act. I wish Brad Pitt and Quinton Tarentino would have wanted to test him and force him to fight in real life.
