Показать описание
Hey Friends!
If you ever wondered how to properly clean pinecones for crafting with..well today's your lucky day because I am showing you how it's done! Get rid of the bugs, get rid of the sap!
It's super simple, you're going to need a large bucket to dump your pinecones in and fill half way with water. try your best to do a half to half ratio with vinegar and water. any vinegar will do. I added in a drop of dish soap to my mixture!
Let this soak (entirely soak) for 20 to 30 minutes and rinse off in the sink.
line foil on a pan (multiple pans if you are doing tons of pinecones at once) YOU should use foil to catch the drips of sap! Do not over bake these, they can catch FIRE so be very careful and check throughout the time they are in the oven!
Set the oven to 200 degrees and place in oven at 30 minutes. This will also reopen your pinecones so they look beautiful, it's also going to melt the sap off and or it might harden the sap onto the pinecones! Gives this glossy look!
Enjoy crafting with your clean pinecones!
