I believe with the 7x kit you can get 4 channels of output. You can use the regular stereo 1/4" for cymbals, hi-hat and toms and use the 1/8" jack for 2 more channels for kick and snare. (Or however you want to route it) We did this with ours. That way the stuff you want in stereo is in stereo and your kick and snare are in mono but you have more control and processing over those at FOH.

Jake, these are great tours of the Sound and Video upgrades, new installs, and enhancements. Could you also add a general budget/cost of the installations? Not the building construction but specifically to the sound system, treatments, this would give viewers who are doing research and upgrades an idea of how budget in a realistic manner.

I want to suggest checking out the 2box drumit e kit module, they use multilayered round robin sampling technology that sounds incredible and extremely realistic. Can add in samples from Superior Drummer or any other VST directly on the unit. It’s also open source so you can use the module with pads from any company. It’s the best e kit module I’ve ever heard, for a great price at that

All nice and fun ... but somebody had to pay a lot of money for that.
And it remains to be discussed if this is the best use of that ... on the other hand there are a lot of good causes that are underfunded.

I am a gearhead too and excited about all this tec - but i'm als a christian and asking myself 'what serves god's will better?'.

Awesome setup and In can see you guys go head on with technology, but not putting any control anywhere other than the main control room or via remote. The headache of people messing with volume, etc and especially in the restroom.

I go to an Adventist church and most of the money that we get from tithes is sent off to the Adventist conference so our church doesn’t see that money. We really don’t stay with much. Probably about $2500 per month and that’s to pay the rent where we are now. What do you think my church could do in this case because we need an upgrade and a new place to congregate but we have around $100k for budget. We are also looking to work with you guys so what do you guys recommend we can do?
