Hi Brian, just to share my experience of f16. Bought kit by mistake. Ordered motor from bangood and got esc, servos and cables from an old plane. First flight on 3s...no power crashed. Glued together and boiled nose to straighten. Second flight harder thow, no power crashed. More glue and boiling water. Bought some 4s 1500 batteries and cut out foam to fit. Third flight no power on 4s and worse crash. More glue and boiling water. Then noticed that the long wires I had used were dangling down and blocking the air intake. Cut hole in bottom and taped wires to top of fuselage. Glued back the piece I had cut out to make hole. Looks like crap. Fourth flight still on 4s. Massive power now and terrifying flight with too much aerolon landed OK with no further damage. Cut down throws. Fifth flight love it. Perseverance is all. Andy in uk.

Awesome Video! Other than your receivers do these planes have the same electronics config (blades, kv, esc)? did you fly them both with stock electronics?

I always get SUPER nervous when I fly my rc plane, is there some way to stop that or is it just to fly and get better so I don’t have to worry?

I've been flying rc helicopters since 2001 this is going to be my first EDF jet which is on the way from Bangood should be here on the 22nd. I'm then going to get the A-8 Crusader from Motion Pro hopefully this F-18 50mm jet will be a great starter Jet so I should go with 4S over 3S because it looks better in control with the 4S! Is this a great starter jet!?

Awesome! Reminds me of excessive the oscillation I had with the Freewing F35. I used a salvaged AR631 from a crashed Viper 70mm. Replaced it with a new AR630, going to try it this weekend.

(Long story, BUT), that YOU know of, is there any dual rate/expo adjust on the nx8 fir channel 6 for an AR631 reciever?

(Buddies aeroscout, elevator channel is inop. I put elevator on ch6 & it works fine. Mixed elevator/master, ch6/slave. BUT its 100% everything, 100% of the time. Rx is out of warranty.)
