@beat_the_hunger ingredients & recipe:
For Bara/Vada:
. Urad Dal (1.5 Cup) [ Soaked for atleast 6 to 7 Hours]
. Grind into a 90% Fine paste
. Cumin (1/2 TSP)
. Salt to taste
. Whisk well for atleast 8 mins to incorporate air into the batter
. Deep Fry in a medium heated oil untill bara is perfectly cooked and turns brown
. Soak the Bara/Vada in water for 5 - 8 mins
For Dahi pani:
. Curd (2-3 cups)
. Roasted Cumin and Chilli Powder
. Salt to taste
. Black Salt (2 TSP
. Crushed Mango Ginger and Chilli
. Water as required
. For Tadka
- Mustard Oil/Refined Oil(1.5 TBSP)
- Mustard seeds ( 1 TSP)
- Red Chillies (2 Nos)
- Curry Leaves (10 - 15 nos)
For Aloo Dum:
. Boiled Potatoes (3 Medium Sized)
. Mustard Oil (2-3 TBSP)
. Bay Leaves (2 Nos)
. Black Pepper corns ( 10 nos)
. Medium sized Onions (3 nos)
. Ginger Paste( 1.5 TBSP)
. Garlic Paste (1.5 TBSP)
. Odia Aloo Dum Paste ( Cinnamom 1.5 inch, Poppy Seeds 1.5 TSP, Muskmelon Seeds 1 TBSP)
. Red Chilli Powder (1 TBSP)
. Turmeric Powder (1/2 TSP)
. SALT TO TASTE
. Before Adding Aloo take out 4 TBSP of Cooked Masala to be added in ghughuni later
. Coriander leaves chopped
. Garam masala
. Water as required
For Ghughuni:
. Mustard Oil ( 2 TBSP)
. Cumin Seeds (1 TBSP)
. Dried Red Chillies (2 Nos)
. Curry Leaves (10-15 Nos)
. Ginger Paste (1 TSP)
. Cooked Masala
. Boiled Matar with Turmeric Powder and Salt
Assembly:
. Dahi Bara
. Roasted Cumin and Chilli Powder
. Black Salt
. Ghughuni
. Aloo Dum
. Onion (Chopped)
. Nylon Sev
. Coriander Leaves
