This reminds me of how people will review recipes and say “5 stars - can’t wait to make this looks so good” or “2 stars - I changed everything about this and it turned out terrible”

You forgot the part afterwards where Amazon recognises you for the enormous chair enthusiast you are and fills your home page with new chairs for when you decide to treat yourself to another new chair to expand your chair collection

This reminds me of when my wife and I were looking at resorts for our honeymoon. A lot of the reviews left for the resorts were just people complaining about the airline as if the hotel owned the planes.

I left a 1 star review on a gaming chair. The company contacted me and offered me $50 to turn the 1 star review into 5 stars. I refused, took screenshots and told Amazon. Amazon deleted my 1 star review and banned me from writing reviews for accepting bribes. Thanks Amazon

I love how chairs, doors, and cars all make almost the exact same noise when they break down in the Ryanverse.

This is scary accurate. Amazon used to be amazing for online shopping...now it seems I spend more time asking "is this a bootleg product?" and the classic "is this bootleg product okay enough to justify not driving the damn store myself for the real deal?"
