The 80s UK Soul Scene is an untapped reserve, about time it was looked into. The Cool Notes were originally a Reggae/Lover's Rock group in the early 80s before going Soul in 1984 with Spend The Night.
One member married Karl Macintosh from another great group Loose Ends, and their son was in the 90s/2000s group S Club 7.
