Longest Video Yet - Gorilla Lope and Aybo’s Epic Playful Battle in France

*An extra-long video today; in fact, I think it's my longest ever. Gorilla Lope filmed at Zoo Bassin d'Arcachon in France.*

Lope and Aybo are up at the top. Lope is charging towards Aybo, as he was annoying him before. I kept wishing they would move away from the window, as it's difficult to film with the bright sunlight.

Lope was sucking his thumb quite often during my time there, just as he did at Twycross. Maybe here, it’s giving him some comfort. Lope had his mouth open for such a long time that he started to drool. Aybo looked at him and then decided to catch his drool and consume it. Lope's face, lol. Lope tapped Aybo's nose, and they continued their playful fight, with Aybo once more taking Lope's drool. Lovely, lol.

Just after their little break, Aybo tapped Lope on the chest, and Lope did the same to Aybo. Round and round they go. More of the playful fight followed, with a twirl and a chest beat (inaudible, as I had to change the sound) from Lope later on when Aybo went the other way.

Aybo comes back again for some more when Dishi finally woke up. Lope went away. He sat on the platform before dismounting in the Lope style. When he sits by the window, you can see his huge back.

I'm happy to see Lope doing well in his new home. I lost track of him for a while until someone told me that he was moved to a bachelor group. I'm glad he's doing good. He was always a character and quite comical at times.
