How to load ANY Super 8 Film Camera

All these old super 8 cameras can be a bit of a mystery and especially for film sometimes getting this vintage stuff loaded up properly can be confusing at first. Fear not though as Super 8 is one of the easiest formats to load up into a camera so I'm going to take a look at some different models to help you out!

I love your work! Super informational. I've run through all your Super 8 content to get ready for my new camera. Are you able to do a video or explain, shooting a roll of film and switching it out mid-roll for a different one. Say for example, a Kodak 50D to 200T due to lack of light and vice versa.

Thanks for making this video. I am getting into super 8 myself right now. I was wondering how to set the sun and the lightbulb symbol after loading the film. Do I need to leave it always on the sun setting with the Kodak 50D and always on the lightbulb with 200T/500T? What do I need to think of before setting the sun/lightbulb dial?

the film length on my super 8 isnt working telling me how much film i have left ....but its running i marked with texter and working is this a major issue?

Thanks for this video! How do you know when you’ve gone through all of the film in the cartridge? Just started shooting on a keystone XL304 and there’s no way to track it.

I have a new canon 514xl-s canonsound camera. And I wanted to load it, but the spinning motor in the middle doesn't spin and the dot that I drew on the film doesn't disappear. What do I have to do now?

I just came across the Argus showmaster 870 camera projector. And I can't remember exactly how to set it up, I am doing something wrong and I can't find a manual for this anywhere on the whole internet. Have you done a video on this projector?

Bought a bell and howell T10XL i put batteries in but cant seem to get the thing in the center to rotate. Any tips or info? Is it completely unusable?

I just bought a canon auto zoom 814 super 8 and bought 50 outdated (1992) packs of film for €12, 50, i dont know if these will still look good because they’re so old but im going to give it a try anyways

I don!g know why the old cathode Ray TVs don!f sell, especially with old consoles players. I am struggling about whether to sell the old Gaf super 8 film camera and projector, but wang it to be enjoyed. Even if there is a market, I can’t be sure if it is in good enough shape. Are there general places that can examine these cams?

I'm having issues figuring out how to load batteries into my bell and Howell filmsonic without the original battery pack that goes into the handle, any idea how to load batteries?

What would you do if the film wasn’t moved through the camera and the dot remained in the same place?
