Their songs are perfectly engineered. The way the quiet but prominent bass intertwines with the rhythm guitar which draws attention to the haunting note riff thats done by alex while singing simultaneously.. and the way theres quiet backing vocals that the band knows are necessary though you wouldnt exactly know because youre too busy being taken to another world via the lyrics, i think they are geniuses at what they do

that guitar in the beginning gets me every time. honestly, this song hits me in a way no other song does. the same goes for most of the songs off of suck it and see

I love how he's trying his best to remain calm. He knows if he starts his antics he's gonna fuck up the guitars because of the insane amount of concentration it takes to sing and play in this song.

This song isn’t exactly my number 1 Arctic monkeys song it’s definitely in the top 5 but it’s makes me feel a certain way that no other song by them can achieve. It’s like taking a quiet walk and never wanting it to end, this song will ALWAYS hold a very special place in my heart.

Stumble upon Alex's music when I was sick in bed for weeks, gave me great comfort at such lonely moments. I came out a different person onwards. From being uninterested in music in general, to completely in love with his songs.
