In Q. 9 there is a typing error in the display by the typist. Sir is solving the paper from the actual question paper in his hand where option (B) is given as k/ε instead of √k/ε.

Q12 in paper 2 can be solved using graphical reasoning (for full potential) mostly and if done this it is not at all lengthy. Only one calculation -- finding the minima of the potential is needed for checking first three options. For the last option, actually we only need to look at the graph and no calculation is needed.

I have listened to many teachers but one of their ubiquitous opinions is that jee questions are only easy at home and not during the exam. I want to ask Sir if it is really so and if yes then what is the solution to this problem.

Can we not solve 12th question at 35:00 by finding direction of Fnet ??
If positive net force towards center then it will go otherwise at Z° 🤔

How can you conserve angular momentum in question 1 as torque will become non zero as soon as it enter 'z' direction. You could only conserve torque in this question when particle is moving in xy plane as then force would be radial. But here it's not the case as particle is also moving in z direction. So torque non zero. Can anyone explain why torque is conserved in this question?
