With a provocative exterior and bamboo interior.

Lexus chose the Japan Mobility Show as a platform to introduce the LF-ZC (Lexus Future Zero-emission Catalyst), scheduled to launch in 2026 as a bigger brother to the RZ, which is a hundred miles away from greatness.

Lexus calls the design language "Provocative Simplicity," and it's meant to be an evolution of the brand's identity. While the concept is quite radical, it's not just provocative for the sake of grabbing eyeballs. Sure, the low-slung body, tapering roofline, and rear wheel flares give it a sporty look, but most of the exterior features on the LF-ZC have some sort of aerodynamic function.

Not all traditional design elements have been axed, however. The famous Spindle Grille (now more of a body-colored panel than anything) now stretches from the front, along the sides, and to the rear bumper. Basically, the entire car is a giant spindle grille of mixed surfaces.
