Cape Sounio from above | rear views of Poseidon Temple | Ο Ναός του Ποσειδώνα στο Σούνιο από ψηλά

One of the most -must see- attractions when someone visits Athens, is the Poseidon Temple which lies at Sounio Peninsula at the southernmost point of Attica. The temple made entirely of white marble, it was erected in the middle of the 5th century BC and built to honour Poseidon, god of the sea to give them nice sea trips so that they would come back home. Apart of its history the place is famous for its stunning sunsets. The spot was build to, is the last point of Attica mainland before to meet Aegean Archipelago.
We have been there before but never managed to see the temple from ABOVE. This one is a rear view we recorded and we share with you (go to 2:16 min). Weather was our ally this time...
