I turn 17 tomorrow, and I saw this in cinemas last week. Man, I loved it! The classic Disney has no age limit!

I'm extremely disappointed Disney didn't do more of its classic animations in stereoscopic 3D like this. Seriously, the effect is utterly stunning on these classic animations. And with VR now a thing, it's a whole new platform from them too.

I have to say I'm a bit sceptic about most of the 3D movies but the colours on this new version of The Lion King look amazing. I'm 22 and I still get goosebumps when I hear "The Circle of Life"

i was actually hoping for part 4. but you can never go wrong on any of the liion king movies, lion king has been with me my whole life (14 years). this movie has a special meaning to the 90s kids. the kids of these days really missed out. fuck the cartoons of these days. LONG LIVE THE KING! THE LION KING!!!!

Just got out of the theater. This movie still is amazing after all these years.

The 3D was just OK. There are parts where the 3D looks really good, and others where it's barely noticeable.

Point is: If you see it just in 2D, you won't be missing much at all.
