Ready Green Light on Hot Spring Spa

What does it mean when the green light (ready light) on your Hot Spring Spa goes out.

What happens when the green light isn't on but the temperature is over the set temperature? Does this just mean that the heater isn't working at the moment since it's hot enough and the green light will come back on when it cools down at night possibly?? and starts to heat up the water again??? only the blue light is on now... I just cleaned filters and temp was set at 100* but water was reading 101* while i was outside cleaning the filters.
