This is an illegal road format where I live. Roads can't have their colour changed for no reason, and if it's a shared space (like colours usually denote) it's gotta be signposted.

O my gosh, i live right around the corner from this road. It's a bad design for sure and yes he should have been taughtand warned befor hand. Unfortunately, the examiner had to intervene, so no matter what thats a fail here in perth.

It most definitely was and the driving knew this most definitely. It’s rude and unjust. He should’ve been explained this prior to his test. poor teaching, they need to be fired. All tests should be comfortable for the student not cause panic and distress something apparently 90% of driving instructors don’t understand. This is the reason most teens and adults fail there driving tests, it’s unbelievable.

Meanwhile back in 1985 in Rockingham l forget l have booked a 1hr lesson before my license test and take a trip on Sunday and sleep in Monday morning and so spaced l pull a sickie. Lesson man knocks on door and l don't wake up he comes back in 20 mins l wake and manage a half hour lesson before the test. I am still a little stoned and make so many mistakes instructor is angry because he says in previous lesson I'm ready to sit test. Take the test and drive perfectly... get license and lesson instructors words are YOU GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING😳. Moral of the story relax, get stoned, pass.🤣

Bro it’s just common sense. I have 1.5 hrs on a learners and I know that. He deserved to fail - no road would ever be that narrow.

That’s a terrible road being that I live in New York but if he’s from that area then he should know which lane to be in and how the roads work over there lmao
