Hello and welcome to WePC where today we're going to take a look at our Cyberpunk 2077 Optimization Guide performed by Jack, We explore all the settings that make a noticeable difference in terms of visuals and FPS and find a nice optimized mix between the two! We really hope you enjoy!

This took a lot of effort to make and although we are a little late to the party we figured we would wait a little until some or most of the major issues have been fixed by CDProjekt RED. We know we have had a lot of requests for this and we hope our Cyberpunk 2077 Optimization Guide suffices and lives up to everyone's expectations

Let us know what you thought of our Cyberpunk 2077 Optimization Guide down in the comments below!

*Note* I say we're using DLSS 1.0. this is incorrect we are infact using DLSS 2.0!

DLSS settings scale with resolution. Ideally you'd want to keep DLSS native render at around1080p for best balance between looks and performance. Going lower isn't going to boost fps much but you'll lose a ton in looks. going higher isn't going to improve looks much, but you'll lose ton in performance.

So for 1080p monitors I'd pick either DLSS quality or off, for 1440p monitors quality or balanced, for 4k monitors balanced or performance.

Note that 4k monitor while in DLSS performance mode it renders at higher input resolution than 1080p DLSS quality.

Couple things I want to note regarding some settings.

Cascaded Shadow Resolution on static shadows appears to have no difference from high and medium, but shadows in motion (eg, shadows from a car you are driving) are much more aliased and blocky on medium. I left it on high just because the shadows are too blocky on the edges when driving cars if left on medium. (at least on 1080p)

Ambient Occlusion does not have much of an impact in the environment, but car interiors look heaps better on medium or high. But it does use a lot more GPU power. I recommend medium or high if you drive cars in first person a lot.

Love this video man, I am getting around 40-50ish on my RTX 3050. Though, I am glad its getting updates still till 2022. I believe in CDPR, corporate greed, and shareholders forced them to release a crapshoot. Glad its getting fixed overtime.

I think there's a minor mistake, Any RTX (2000 and 3000 series) card will use DLSS 2 here.

8:34 Why you choose this location to show off reflections ? This example gives limited understanding of how this parameter hits the graphic card
I would say "Corpo" prologue shows SSR better

I just bought this during the Epic Store Sale. Great video! I do have one question what app are you using in the overlay to measure FPS, cores and etc...?

What I want to know is in the FOV section, why was there an INCREASE in FPS as the FOV went WIDER?? Is that consistent across a variety of scenes for you? And how is that 84FPS shows 11.4ms frame time, 87 FPS shows 11.2ms, yet 85 FPS is down at 10.4!? I guess it must have just been a transient fluke of when you snapped the shot. :)

wait a sec, im from the US and i just want to make sure...your GPU is running at 64 degrees Celsius at 7:28 ... that's literally 147.2 degrees Fahrenheit. Thats hot as hell lol

These settings tanked my performance from what I was using. I’m in a 1660ti and somehow bumping my settings up to these looked worse and cost me 10-20 FPS

You do not need Optimization setting for your RTX 2080 Super. We need Optimization settings for cards like GTX 1080. This is pointless

Answer me if you can=
I want to get AMD Ryzen 5 3400G Processor, I have some questions :
It is good without graphic card?
It is good with 4 cores?
It is good for this year games for pc?
It is good to match with GTX 1650 super Graphic card and 16GB Ram(2×8) DDR4 Ram?
