This was a fun video that I enjoyed. I didn't set out to watch a year old Zu Reviews video at 2AM; but, YouTube and the universe conspired to make it happen, and I'm happy that they did.

In regards to the 505 itself; I like it. It's a pleasant little handheld that looks sturdy. Did you end up using it enough to figure out if it was built better than your prematurely creaky Pocket 3?

While I like it a lot; there's at least one way the 505 could've been "improved". If I were Amber or Nick what I would've done differently is to have found a way to extend the screen's touch layer down into the lower bezel area. Then I'd have placed all of the currently scattered auxiliary buttons (Volume, Brightness, Anbernic launcher, Back, etc) down there in a row PSP-style. If the screen comes with its touch controls pre installed then that's not going to work; but, if Anbernic is/was supplying their own touch control layer that overlays the screen, then it absolutely would've worked for just the added cost of a bit more touch control materials and paint for the capacitive button markings. There's a chance they'd have saved money vs. using hardware buttons for those features.

Nice video. I actually prefer the cutesy retro look of this device to the RP3+.
For me the absence of stacked shoulder buttons not such a deal breaker but I think there should be an option where left stick is up top.

Nice review Zu, full of character, charm and a hint of bloody violence. I don't mind where the headphone jack is, having it not mounted on the PCB and replaceable by mere mortals without having to shrink yourself Fantastic Voyage style would be nice. I know it'll never happen but they wear or get damaged and then what do you do? Shake your fist at the sky? Blame the government? Get a quote from your local electronics repair shop and nearly suffer a heart attack? Write YT comments in a mood of frustration? Sheesh.

Great vid😊 I personally love the size. I have the RG503 and i already want this. Think a lot of us including me will be waiting for the hdmi version of the 505 though. Im so happy with the wii emulation. Did you try Super Smash Bros on the the wii and the gamecube. Good test of performance.
