I’m cool with having a monetization role. It’s a business after all. But I agree with one of the comments here. Make the skins a tad bit cheaper and don’t put them in chests. It’s dumb because it makes me spend money for skins I don’t want. Just make it straight forward. Cool skins will get bought. It’ll encourage your team to make cool skins to make money.

Personally I haven't spent a lot of money in this game (hardly even 100€) and I've been playing this game for as long as I can remember.
However I find it odd how people keep throwing tantrums about their money and skins and not getting refunded...
Excuse me but its a whole new game. Plus smite 1 is still on, they aren't gonna delete it (and even if they plan to do so, they will have to wait atleast a whole 1 or 2 years after the beta release to make sure everything is actually transferred to the new smite 2).

Plus lets not ignore the fact that smite is one of the most generous games I've ever played (before smite 2 was even announced or planned there were a lot of sales on skins, a lot of bonus gems, they even gave you gems for getting inside the game regularly. Compare that to any other game you've guys played and let's see who has the last word).
Also I find it nrml for them to actually require money bcs let's be realistic we are in a capitalistic world where money is the core of every action. They have multiple teams trying to make everything from scratch and although they are passionate about it theh wont be doing it for free

I really hope the monetization of Smite 2 will move away from putting everything in chests. I've been spending absolutely nothing in Smite when in the first 2 seasons I spent thousands. The chest scamming is so incredibly awful. Please, HiRez!! 💖

Okay, Titan, I'm totally sold on it. I just pray and hope the sale for the founders' packs stay around for a long time. I'm in a tight spot financially if they stick around for at least 2 or 3 months or longer I'm set(saving up to move to a new apartment, yay me, lol not really)

Smite is honestly the only game I honestly have faith in when it comes to microtransactions being worth it. You guys put a lot of passion into the skins, and I appreciate it very much. I can't wait to buy the tier 5 Zeus skin!! My mage main getting a T5 is like a birthday present 🎁!!! 😊

Make passes without the god pack as well. I like grinding the game for new gods but want all the other stuff. I would like to support the game and everything but the god pack included is the only thing holding me back
