i think allays could absolutely fit the creepy vibe, maybe have them float around a shipwreck as soul of the sailors who didn't survive the crash

Putting a beacon through the lighthouse and making it change colour when you receive mail could be a cute and useful decoration! Love the little birds the powerlines, they give so much life to the builds!!

I love the idea of you spending a day at your base to see who stops by. A "yes" day where you say yes to adventures per whomever stops by. Someone comes by with an idea, you join in. You don't suggest you're up to anything, but if they offer, you say yes.

ok the allay looking Gem dead in the face, before being yanked away at high speed really funny for some reason.

Instead of turning a beacon on/off when you receive mail, you could change the colour of the beacon beam when you get mail if you want the beacon to always be active on your lighthouse.

i think that the allays could go really well with the foggy, kinda spooky vibe of your base. if anyone has ever seen pixar's 'Brave', they could be like the wisps in that movie.

Another point against using leads for wires is that they wouldn't always render in, vs you can see the bars and chains from quite far away and I like that more!
Also the research station is super cute! Stay safe in the snow storm!

Something I never knew I needed was a Gem and Grian duo, the two of them are so chaotic in the best of ways with the snails and it always makes the videos so interesting and entertaining to watch
