Richard Branson is keeping his head low in his luxury island. His private fortune would be useful for the foreign owned non-Australian company Virgin Australia, maybe the vast amount of tax his organisations have avoided paying would take the sting out of it. We did not bail out the real Australian airline Ansett Australia so no way would the taxpayer allow one with Virgin, let it go or nationalise it on our terms.
