I used to have a 1966 SX 200 in the mid 70s. It was a non runner when I bought it for about £20. The woodruff key had sheered off on the flywheel. Sprayed it up in red and it looked a bobby dazzler. I ended up selling it for £60 in 1978. If only I knew then what I know now.
Love the sound of this one. It reminds me of the sound from the yellow Ancelotti exhaust I had on mine.

I used to have one of these in 1974. My goodness, the noise brings back some great memories. It was always going wrong though. I'd love to own another as a project machine.

SX 200 was my second Lambretta after having an SX150 as my first scooter. God, I loved it, that was in 1969. Had a couple of scooters in the early 2000's and when I sold my GP150 to a local dealer, he told me that when Lambrettas were going out of fashion in the mid 70's he scrapped loads of brand new SX200 side panels.

The designer of the SX must have stepped back from the drawing board and thought to themselves..oooh yes. Perfect proportions and looks from every angle. I bought my SX200 from SGT Scooters in Merton for £200 in 1983 but traded it to buy a brand new PX200E a couple of years later. Wish I still had it.
