Here in Chicago I've tried many things on many lakes and the two most consistent pres pawn lures for me have been a pearl white Bandit 100 and a Watermelon Senko.

All year round I carry 3 rods and 3 rods only. Jig, swimbait and wacky. I catch most of my big spawn bass on Flippin jigs and large wake baits (8+ inches) and if the bite is tuff then I throw 4 inch wacky. Year round 1 of these 3 setups will catch me all the big fish I want.
