This tutorial was EXCELLENT! Thanks so much, Mike, for putting it together. I doubt I could have set up my website so quickly without this video. I paused it often as I completed each task live, and by the end of the video I had a fully functional website, professional email address, and even added a business phone line through WIX that forwards to my cell phone (figured the phone out on my own). My business has officially launched. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to get started. As a tip for beginners - don't get bogged down in making your website perfect the first time. Get it all up and running, and you can always make it perfect later.

Brilliant sir. Just a brilliant tour.
I had a Wix website built for me pandemic by a designer and it became no longer relevant during and post-pandemic.
Cutting a long story short, I could no longer afford to keep the website and my conscious bias of digital competence convinced me I could not build one.
This was reaffirmed by every attempt I made previously to create a website (through different platforms and WIX) I quickly stalled, lost confidence and stopped.
I've come back to WIX and wanted to seek help without a major financial outlay. I would say it's been a successful endeavour as your video has helped me tons and has taken away many of my biases.

Amazing video! I started right off with a paid upgrade, tried editing and got frustrated because I had NO clue what I was doing. I wish I had thought to look up this video first. Now I can go back and start again. I picked the tea company design to start as it is very close to what I need. I deleted the widgets for the items accidentally, hopefully I can get them back, I loved the way they had two pictures ( bag and loose tea ). Your video is a life saver!!! Thank you!!!

For beginners like me who don't immediately understand the terminology used by those of you who are proficient in this field, its difficult to grab the concept unless we know the specificity of a word. For example, I'm not a veterinarian so I wouldn't understand all the medical terms they use. The same holds true here. So, I'm constantly stopping and starting (and sometimes backing up) the video to recognize what you mean. Regardless, I truly appreciate your thoroughness and knowledge of WIX. "Build your own website", they said. "It'll be fun!" lol I am enjoying it but it'll probably be more 'fun' when I have it published. lol
