I take away the research needed before I can reasonably ask for financial contribution. If I do the burden of the research beforehand and make it clear to my sponsor why it's mutually beneficial, it will be very different than I how I have moved in the past. Appreciate the info

My takeaway is that if I truly identify my audience then I'll be able to find many more options to approach then I thought. This was a very encouraging video. I've done sponsor only twice and I don't think I completely understood this pipeline. Even as a creator with a small growing audience I can see how knowing my audience will help me prove that the sponsorship could be valuable!

Also love the discovery call advice. It really shows that the aim is to benefit the sponsor not just take from them

Fantastic video. Defining our audience and the countries they come from and their mindset has never been part of what I brought in my ask for sponsorship money. I can now see how valuable my audience is, but only when I clearly know who my audience is. Like you said I viewed the sponsorship as an ask for a freebee and not as an exchange of what my audience can bring to a company.
