Like others have said, has this innovative blind been tested for Sound, weight, wind resistance, and durability compared to your traditional models? How DOES it compare?

I just ordered one...and am excited to have it. But, I'm worried about using flashlights in the blind in early morning (pre-dawn) situations. I like to arrive early and will use a light in my blind while it's closed up. I'm assuming that this will be a problem since the light will likely shine through the holes and create a reverse see-through effect?

You just can’t deny that this is one of the best ideas for a ground blind to date. No hype involved really. The only problem I can see with it is that could carry more of your scent through the mesh and not conceal sound as well as the traditional blinds.

$400 is crazy for a blind in my opinion. Guess ill have to wait for the hype to drop so the price can drop then get me one because it is cool

I was very disappointed with this blind. The supposed one way view only works under ideal conditions; just the right light level. One condition it does not work in at all is if you have full sun on the front. Any movement inside is very obvious. Another serious problem is with the shooting windows. You have two choices, wide open or blacked out. Other, better designed blinds have see through and replaceable, shoot through window covers. This blind has solid black, permanently stitched on covers. If you leave a cover open, of course you are totally visible to the animal. If you shut it, you have a giant black spot in front of you. Since all the rest of the mesh is structural you can’t shoot through that. It’s under a lot of tension so if you cut it with a broad head the tent would rip open. There are two large triangular shooting windows made of the same, heavy mesh, but they are permanently stitched on. The final problem is that this blind is short. Sitting in a typical shooting seat, set on the lowest setting, I (5’10”) and my wife (5’ 8”) both had to hunch into a very unnatural position in order to put an arrow through a shooting window. Final gripe is the door is very small. That’s manageable, but not great. We set this blind up, discovered all its disadvantages and took it right down, put up a blind we’ve used before. It has replaceable shoot through windows, positioned appropriately. This Primos Surround View blind is a gimmick. It is worthless. It’s going on Craig’s list.
