Fascinating development these days. First thought that came to mind was a full Wagner retreat from Bakhmut, similar as the Ukrainians retreated recently from the scene creating a smokescreen for a distraction to perform the tactical manouver.

Second thought was that this still can't be happening and its an act (altho the burning oil depot and some of the burning machinery left a shadow of doubt). Moving from Rostov to Voronezh (Which Wagner later claimed they control large parts over) would probably mean a reinforced Wagner+Ru army attempt on the north - Kyiv or Kharkiv, however, maybe they might try to surround the city in a larger perimeter as they did with Bakhmut.

Lukashenka comes in and then the colors change again. Immediatelly I remembered the conversation of Lukashenka with Solovyov, wehre Luka claimed Putin had promised to make him a colonel of the Ru army

I feel like Putin is rather offended that he has to go to war directly when the US can just use proxies. From the RU viewpoint they see themselves as equals to US so they also want to use a proxy. Putin wanted Belarus to join or even front the attack for a while. He wants them involved at all costs. Imagine, giving some Ru army control to Luka or rather trying to empower Belarus, for them to believe they control their fate (like us lol).

Belarus in RU point of view is a buffer which they still havent fully utilized. I think Ru will attack from the north with some twists, maybe some new faces will join... Gotta stay vigilant. Don't believe their theatrics.
