South Carolina Aquarium's Shark Week to include dive shows and shark teeth digs

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The nine sharks that make their home in the Great Ocean Tank at the South Carolina Aquarium are the stars of the show this week. The aquarium is hosting its annual Shark Week.
“You can’t understate the importance of sharks to the health of the ocean,” South Carolina Aquarium Educator Meghan Galipeau explained. “One of sharks’ most important job is to prey on sick and injured fish, and in doing so, they don’t actually get sick themselves, and they stop the spread of disease through the ocean.”
