Thank you for your simple explanation of the pages and how easy you make it look!!!  I have been watching and making notes on a lot of jj videos for the past 6 months....am new at this, and am about to dive into actually assembling one like you are showing us.  I only have one little mini-journal put on my channel....I was so excited to accomplish it that I put classical music with it LOL.  I hope to do more.  It is, as you say, SO MUCH FUN!  Can't wait to see more of your lessons!  Aloha!

love maps all of mine were accidentally taken to the dump I was a over the road truck driver in the late 70s early 80s and being a woman was so much fun never home live all over the USA 🇺🇸 but all my maps and all my log books are destroyed so it makes me sad and thy are very expensive .

I don't know why I'm so scared to start junk journaling. I have tons and tons of paper and I have lots of old books too. I have one that is ripped apart and left with the spine, so I want to add some signatures to it... just scared I will fail.

I have a few questions. I am in the process of doing Shannon Green's Art Jounaling by 5s. 1. Please explain what exactly is a "signature". I understand they are a small amount of pages bound together to go into a journal. I understand to use several bound together for each book. My question is why? Is it so the pages are not bulky and they will lay better? Also, do you choose themes for each signature or are they random? I assume either way is fine. I need to understand the idea behind it. I have searched for hours for an explaination of the "what" and "why" of a signature and have only found the "how".
2. After making a journal like the one in this video, what do you do with it? Do you write in it just like a daily journal? What are some of the other uses?
