Hi Marianne, I am an HR but want to switch my career to supply chain. I have interest in the field and see long term growth & success going down this path. My friend recommended CSCP course as a beginner from ASCM. Can you please guide if I am making a right move in my career? I want to be successful in an industry which doesn't get impacted by recession & current layoffs happening in market. I am scared that what if being a 30 year old I spend 2 years in this and eventually won't earn anything out of it? I am based out of Toronto and honestly I have no leads or references in the industry to go after.

I am retiring with 20 years in the military, first four years were aviation supply, but switched to infantry and haven’t done supply since. I have a bachelors in organizational leadership, should I go for CPIM or a masters in logistics and supply chain management? Thanks
