I still prefer the 12s Ultra Leica authentic shots - not oversharpened, not oversaturated, toned down HDR, performing like a real camera. And it has 5x high quality periscope lens! (though front-facing is really terrible)

impressive how much Motorola has improved in such short time! last year the edge 20 pro had horrible cameras when I used it, now it's competing against the best ones for photos! o have the edge 30 now and camera quite good too, all about software

I went through all the photos (selfies and rear cameras). For each one based on Chris's ranking in the video i gave the following:
Best = 3 points
Second = 2 points
Worst = 1 point.
Where there was no clear mention/indication of which one was second or third in the video I gave a tie for second (2 points to each).
End results for photos:
Xiaomi 12s ultra: 31 points
Xiaomi 12t pro: 31 points
Motorola edge 30 ultra: 29 points

Again, nice review, i am happy to ear that you improved much the colors section analysis compared to old videos, i am pretty much on par with your feeling on this video. Generally 12su is better the more the light goes down, but in daylight and overall same story, 12t pro is too good being priced half. Only in videos i notice a much better presentation from 12su, and eis is a bit bad on motorola, but they are all good shooters, and they are even better with a good custom cam installed. Keep it like this anyway, i appreciated that you listened constructive critics.

I have the edge 30 Ultra, photos are hit n a miss! Too much of HDR at times ruins it plus there's a lot of focus hunting. Zooming in on 200 MP shots is a nightmare 😂 I hope Moto will fix this!

Xiaomi needs of work on their miui other than that they make excellent phones in terms of hardware be it a flagship or a mid-range. They did a pretty good job in 12T Pro in such a short time with the lens.
Looking forward for miui 14. Hope it will be polished one this time.

I was surprised how well the Motorola performed here! The 20 edge from last year was significantly behind other flagships. But all three phones here traded blows for sure. Which is saying a, lot about the 12tpro!

30 ultra user here and the processing and edge sharpening can just ruin pics. While getting consistency is hard, GCam can blow the Moto cam out of the water.

Guess I can understand why Lei Jun said next year's Ultra will go global but not this year's. Problem in consistency. The relationship with Leica is somewhat premature, so they have a lot to improve.

The 12T Pro doesn't have the Leica branding, so they use whatever Xiaomi has always been using pre-Leica.

you can add remove the wind Nosie in camera settings>audio settings>smart nosie reduction. its only in video settings
