yes! amazing - spent an hour or two noodling on the sofa...bonus weirdness: if you use this method and slowly play three notes in poly mode, there's a lil' gap in some of the notes after 16 steps...but if you then turn up the portamento, two of the notes will slide to the other's pitch at those points - very nice!

WoW, I have had my Volca Keys and a few others since they first came out which was 10 years ago but it's only since two days ago that I really learned how to start using it properly 😰 and then I see your video and I tried it too and BINGO !! 🤩 what a result, the drone is great, I love this Volca keys now, it helps of course that I'm also running an effects pedal through it which is a Zoom MS-70CDR which I highly recommend as its got 137 different effects and which can be layered to play several sounds at the same !! 😎and now with decect speakers too instead of headphones, what a difference 🥰 Now I have just subscribed to your channel and given you a thumbs up too 👍

An other easy trick to keep it droning is to simple place a small coin on one key. You can change the tuning of the drone by sliding the coin but you can't add notes in an other register... advantges and disadvantages.
