I have watched Sandy's Act so many times that I know every line and joke. Yet I still laugh, every time!

This kind of entertainment, innocent and pure, is a sadly missed thing. We who were there to enjoy this were truly privileged. Absolutely magnificent.

Loved watching this, Sandy was my great grandad, so lovely to see this footage.

Wonderful. Classic. A routine he must have done thousands of times, each gag is perfectly timed with some wonderful lines to bring the house down. 😅😅😅😅

Yes, I laughed, in spite of everything. Old time comics doing what they did best. Bless 'em.

How I'd love to see film of him singing 'Sonny Boy'. The audience is at first awkward and embarrassed by the awfulness of this sad old geezer - until they gradually realise the joke's on them as his (fake) arms gradually get longer and longer.

'Britain's Got Talent', they say. No, it no longer has talent quite like this. Comedy genius.

Lovely man and a fun act, no such pleasures for us these days. Personally I never felt comfortable with his lips moving, it takes the edge an otherwise polished performance
